Wyatt... 2 weeks old =)

I can hardly believe Wyatt is already 2 weeks old. Wow how the days just fly by with 3 young children. Wyatt is the sweetest little baby! He hardly ever cries which is such a blessing because Emma was a VERY fussy baby. He's sleeping well and eats a lot!! He had his first doctor's appointment on Thursday and I'm happy to report he weighed
9 lbs. 1 oz. (passed his birth weight of 8 lb. 13 oz.) , 20 1/2 inches long, and is one healthy little boy. I just love to hold him and stare at his cute little face. It's such a good feeling to have such joy overflowing from my heart for this little baby. He's truly a blessing sent from God for us to love! =)

Dakota carried the BIGGEST pumpkin =)

Dakota loved running up and down the pumpkin patch trying to find the biggest pumpkin. He finally found it and lifted it with all his strength to show mommy and daddy that he could indeed lift it. He also enjoyed picking out gourds. He had so much fun with his sissy too. Now he just can't wait to carve the pumpkins this weekend!! =) Happy Halloween and Happy Fall to all!! =)

Emma loves pumpkins =)

I took so many cute photos of the kids at the pumpkin patch I just had to share more of them with you. Emma loved to carry the little pumpkins and put them in the wagon. She also enjoyed riding in the wagon. She got a bit tired doing so much walking but daddy gladly carried her around the patch. She took a tumble in the gravel (big ouchies on her face) but it didn't stop her from having fun picking out a few gourds before our time at the patch ended. She looked so cute in her little pumpkin shirt too. =)

Fun at the pumpkin patch =)

We had a fun time at the pumpkin patch this year. We finally had a short time span with no rain so off we went for a fun time. The weather was windy so Wyatt stayed nice and bundled up against me in his sling. Dakota and Emma had fun picking the different pumpkins and running around the pumpkin patch. Fall is one of our favorite times of the year and going to the pumpkin patch is one of our favorite family traditions. =)

More of Wyatt's first photos...

These are a few more photos from the 12th... I love my doctor. Dr. Kennedy is just the best OB and she really got me through a very painful delivery with her calm voice and coaching. She always treated the kids so great for my appointments and when I was worried about the baby being breech she took the time to explain every option to me. She's just the best!!

His first bath he DID NOT like at all! He cried the whole time but afterwards he was not only nice and clean but he was a good little sleeper for mommy and daddy his first night in the hospital.

Mimi and David after Wyatt was born. Marsha shared in our joy after things in the delivery room calmed down a bit. One of the first photos with her 3rd grandson.

I love the close up photo of him. He just looks so sweet. The final photo I think is so cute too. He's in deep thought with his finger pressed to his chin. He's just such a cutie... I love him so much! It's amazing how quickly and deeply you love a new baby that you just met. He just melts my heart every time I look at him. =)

It's a Boy!! =)

It's a boy!! Wyatt George David McGee came into this world at 5:23 p.m. on Friday, October 12. He weighed 8 lb. 13 oz. (we couldn't believe how big he was) and was 20 inches. I was in labor for almost 9 hours but only had to push for like 10-15 minutes. He had the chubbiest cheeks when he was born. We didn't know the sex of the baby (everyone in the room knew David was going to announce it) so when he came out I couldn't see but David leaned down to my ear and said "it's a boy." It was a very sweet and joyous moment and I'm so glad we were surprised. My guess had been a boy too (David thought the same). I was so tired when Wyatt was first born that I didn't hold him that long but as soon as they cleaned him up I couldn't wait to hold my baby boy. He's such a sweet baby! His name.... we didn't actually decide on his name until Saturday night (to the dismay of family and friends... everyone just couldn't wait to know his name). We finally decided on Wyatt (Waylen was our other choice but no one really liked it and he looked more like a Wyatt). George is a family name on both sides but mostly it's after my beloved and dearly missed Grandpa George Fite. The David is after not only my wonderful husband David but also after his dad and his dearly missed grandpa David too. (We like family names for the middle names of our children). I can still hardly believe I have a second son. He's my sweet baby boy! =)

Last belly pic & labor coaches... the best!! =)

My last belly pics were taken right before I was induced on Friday, October 12th. It seems so weird to no longer have my big basketball 46" around belly. My labor went pretty good but the epidural didn't work so great for the pushing phase but I got through it and have already forgotten all of the pain (well most of it). My husband was such an incredible support to me during my pregnancy (I was soooo crabby at the end but he put up with me) and especially during my labor. He held my hand when I wanted him to or didn't hold it when I asked him not to. I coudln't have done it without him! Thanks so much baby! The last photo is of my 2 other labor support people... Amanda and Lisa... 2 of the best friends a girl could have. Thank you ladies for all of your help and support during my labor. Amanda thank you for the incredible birth photos and Lisa thank you for holding up my heavy leg (I know you had to be getting tired of holding it up) and for the pictures you took too. You guys are the greatest and David and I couldn't have made it through my labor without you! =) I'm so glad you were able to share such a special event in my life with me! Love ya girls! =)

Maternity Photo Shoot =)

My wonderful husband David took these awesome maternity photos of myself. He was so patient and retook any I wasn't 100% on. I'm usually the photographer but he put up with me and did a GREAT job! I love the pictures. He took over 50 and of course I'm not going to post that many but these are a few of my favorites. Thanks so much honey you did a wonderful job! These were taken on October 2nd...my 38th week of pregnancy! =)

My newest little nephew =)

Here he is my newest little nephew... Hayden Owen Hune. He was born on September 26th after a long 23 hour labor and weighed 9 lbs. 11 oz. and was 21" long. He's a little cutie. Here are 2 photos of him taken at 6 days old (I took his newborn portraits and these are my 2 favorite). I can't wait until my little one will be able to meet his cousin. =)
