Dakota's 1st baseball game =)

After the Lion King on 8-31-08 Dakota enjoyed a very special treat... his 1st baseball game! =) His daddy and papa joined him at the game. Another neat thing is this was the 2nd to the last game to be played in the Clippers stadium before it will be torn down and rebuilt in downtown Columbus.

He had a GREAT time!! He enjoyed a 2 hot dogs (well really only 1 because he dropped the 1st one), lemonade, and some skittles too. He won a badge and got a poster of the stadium over the years. He also had fun taking some of the pictures (the self-portrait close up of him and the field pictures).

They all had a great memorable time! =) One of Dakota's favorite things to do is to spend time with is daddy and papa! =) Also he really wanted to catch a ball with is mitt but he never got the chance. =(

The Lion King LIVE on Broadway =)

We had the awesome treat of seeing The Lion King LIVE curtosy of David's mom, Marsha (AKA Mimi). His sister Danielle and daughter Hannah also joined us for the show. We had incredible seats in the 8th row! We LOVED it!! The costumes were unforgettable and we've never seen anything like it! Emma did get a bit tired by the 2nd part of the show but I can't complain she was a little trooper for such a long program. Emma and Dakota were both tired by the end of the show as you can see in there picture with Mimi. Oh yeah also you weren't supposed to take photos inside of the theater (I didn't know) but I'm glad I got one of Dakota and Emma. Thanks Marsha for such a special gift and one we'll never forget!!

Wyatt was watched by his Papa McGee and did a fantastic job!! =) I was a little nervous in leaving him as he only nurses and won't take a bottle. He ended up taking a 2 hour nap and was a good little boy. Thanks again Dave for watching Wyatt so we could enjoy the show! =)

Dakota's blue gill fish mount =)

Dakota's fish Ohio record fish mount finally was finished in August. Dakota was so surprised as you can see in the photos. We had him close his eyes and as he opened them David handed Dakota the fish. He loved it! We proudly hung it on our wall right below Papa McGee's big bass. We sure are proud of our little fisherman!! =)

We have satellite internet... woo hooo!!!! =)

I'll be able to update the blog on a regular basis now as we had satellite internet installed yesterday!! I'm loving the fast internet and it takes a minute or two to upload pictures where before it could take up to 10 minutes with dial-up. Thanks hubby for the awesome internet!! Lots more updated pictures and all of our summer adventures to follow over the next couple of weeks.... =)

Wyatt loves his swing! =)

Wyatt had such a good time swinging in his swing on this awesome summer day! His joyful laugh and sweet smiles just made my day! He's such a happy baby!! He's 11 months old now too!! I can hardly believe it's time to send out his 1st birthday invitations! The past year has just flown by. =)
