Lil' Fireman Wyatt =)

I started off trying to take Wyatt's 9 month photos indoors with Dakota's big firetruck. Wyatt wanted to do more playing than smiling for the camera. He looked cute with his firetruck onsie and sitting beside the big firetruck. He was so adorable sitting on the firetruck too. He just wouldn't give me any of his big smiles so outdoors we went for the photo session. As you'll see in the next post they turned out great!!

I often get asked if I get sick of firefighter clothing or gifts... no I don't... I love my firetruck clothing for my boys (I'm proud of my firefighting hubby so I like to show it by dressing my boys in fire themed clothes anytime I can). Dakota LOVES to wear anything firefighter too. Lucky for me there were lots of firefighter themed clothes this season. =)

Wyatt recently had his 1st big boy haircut (I had only trimmed his hair a little in the past). It amazes me how went from looking like a baby to a little boy with just a haircut. We weren't to sure how we like it at first but now I think it's adorable. He's been blessed with a full head of hair but wow it's a challenge to cut baby's hair. I had to break it down into 2 sessions to get it just right. =)

Wyatt's 9 month photos =)

Here are Wyatt's 9 month photos taken by yours truly. My backyard and a cool rock that David just added to our flower beds made the perfect setting and backdrop for these awesome and adorable photos. He looked so cute sitting on the rock and he gave me some of the cutest smiles too. It's hard to believe he's already 9 months old. I've really cherished these past 9 months especially since we will probably not be having anymore babies. I sometimes have to just stop the long list of things I need to get done and just enjoy my time with my baby. He's so much fun to play with and his laugh is just so sweet and melts my heart. I just love his little voice even though he just discoverd that he can yell (yikes is it loud) but he also says "mamamama" a lot now and I LOVE it! =)
I love Wyatt's big brown eyes in these photos. David really liked the second photo and the sweet look on his face. My favorite is the 3rd one. He's just a little ray of sunshine!! =)

He's been sick with a bad cold, fever, and runny nose but I do have a funny mommy moment to tell. I got up early at 5 a.m. this morning (that doesn't happen to often but I did get 6 hours of sleep last night... that doesn't happen that often either) and Wyatt woke up (that little stinker). I went up to nurse him and he was burning up with a fever. He fell asleep so I put him back in his crib and he woke up. I picked him up and as I went to sit down he puked ALL over me (like a bucket of breastmilk all over my shirt). I hurried us downstairs and gave him an early morning tubby. I just had to laugh about it all. The other things and work I needed to get done just didn't matter anymore. Mommy moments... this is one I'll not forget. =0

Antique Wyatt photos =)

I took these adorable photos of Wyatt and loved the antique look with just a hint of color that I gave them both. I think he looks like a little doll just sitting on the rock and I love the look on his sweet little face. He was so intrigued by the flower in the grass. I just love how sweet he looks in this photo. He's such a wonderful baby! =)

Dakota =)

Dakota loves to dress nice now. He'll wear a polo anytime he gets a chance too. He says he likes to "look nice for mommy." Isn't that sweet! It was funny David wore a yellow polo too and didn't even know that Dakota was also wearing one. They matched but I never took a picture. I know how much Dakota likes to dress like daddy so I recently bought him 3 of the same colored polos that David has in his closet. The look so great matching. =) He's such a handsome boy.

Dakota and Emma just look so cute together. They are finally starting to play and have a lot of fun together. They do argue but I have come to realize that as brother and sister there will be some of that and just to not always get in the middle of there spats. I just let them work it out. =)

My cutie pie sailor girl and her Sarah the bear =)

My cutie pie Emma looked so sweet in her little sailor dress on Sunday along with her matching "Sarah the bear" in the same dress. I just loved them together! How adorable she is! She is such a sweetie but she has her rotten side too. Wow lately that little girl can cry and cry and cry. As so many have said to me "that's a girl." So different than my boys. We just take it all in stride and I just try to ignore the ultra fits and know she'll eventually settle down because there is no compromise when she's screaming her little head off. The naughty step, going to her room to settle down, and spanking all come into how we handle here. How do moms or dads out there deal with the ultra fits? Any tips would be much appreciated! =) She is a sweetheart and latley she's been a "baby." I'll say my big girl and she'll say "no I'm a baby." It's cute! =)

I am proud to announce that Emma is potty trained!!! This part of life went much easier with a girl. We only have to do diapers for naps and bedtime. I am very happy to not have to be buying as many diapers. =) Her reward for going potty is 1 jelly bean but 2 for poo poos. She loves getting those jelly beans! It's so cute she flushes and says "bye bye pee pee. See you next time!!" Potty training went well once I could really focus on her and not the many other things going on.

Emma is 2 1/2 now and my little princess! =)

Wyatt is 9 months old! =)

Wyatt is 9 months old! I can hardly believe how fast time is flying by in his little life. He's such a sweet baby as you can see his pure joy in these photos. He loves to do his baby yoga as in picture 1. He cracks me up when he bend all the over and just sits with his head on the floor. He's been making this silly face where he scrunches his nose like in picture 2 (it's a little blurry but you get the point). He's sitting so well and loves to be able to play with lots of toys while sitting up. He's got a mouth FULL of teeth... 8! He's been recently cutting 4 teeth at one time. He's been a little trooper! I just can't believe he's got 8 teeth. He loves to eat! He's a good little eater too. He's rolling all over the place and does a little forward scoot thing to get whatever is in his path which we have to be very careful about because he loves paper! He's the pride of his big brother and sister and they enjoy playing with him a lot. They are also very good at keeping him happy by making silly faces or dancing all over the room until mommy can get to him. I just love him to pieces and he's made or family so happy!! He's our little sunshine! =)

Dakota the watersliding machine! =)

Dakota loved sliding down all the slides in the pool. He enjoyed going over to the big kid pool area too (Emma was to little). He even made a friend while playing. A little boy that was 6 (you wouldn't have known he was 6 as he and Dakota were the same height). They played and played together which was a lot of fun for Dakota. They played Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which was perfect for Dakota (he's starting to like them). He really enjoyed going in the big wave pool too and jumping over the waves. He also loved eating a funnel cake too (I did too). =)

We all really enjoyed our time at Zoombize Bay and was very happy we got to share the day with Katie. The kids loved playing with her in the water. David and her even got to go down 2 water slides together. (He wanted to ride the Cyclone after we went on and on about it.) A fun family day for all of us!! =)

Emma the little fish! =)

Sound asleep!

The water is splashing my face!
My "cheese" pose!

Emma had a lot of fun playing in the cool kids area. She loved crawling around in the water and having the water splash her in the face. She went down the little slides over and over again. She stayed busy for along time filling a cap from a bottle with water and dumping it outside the pool area on the ground. She could only endure so much waterpark fun until she gave in and took a nice long nap. She was so cute playing in the water. =)

Wyatt the water baby! =)

A little crack... sorry but it's cute!

I love splashing in the water! =)

Wyatt had so much fun playing in the water! He was such a good boy for the long day we had at the waterpark. He would sit in the water and just splash and laugh! I wasn't sure how he would like the water especially because it was soooo cold. He did great!! He even took a nap. The only thing he didn't like was his hat but he was well lathered with lots of sunscreen. =)

Zoombize Bay Waterpark =)

We enjoyed a fun filled day at Zoombize Bay Waterpark (formely Wyandot Lake) on July 2nd. My sister Katie stayed with us for 3 weeks and this was one of the fun days we had together. Everyone had a blast! Katie and I even went down a HUGE waterslide called the Cyclone. It was so scarey and we screamed and screamed!! Wow what a fun day!!! =)
I LOVE the picture of Emma on her tummy in the water! She's so cute and this picture is just precious! =)

Ice cream with my little buddy! =)

Ice cream.... the perfect ending do a wonderful day with my son! =)

Dakota and I enjoyed some yummy ice cream from Weldons. He got a Birthday Cake Cone (it tasted so good) and I got coconut ice cream with hot fudge sauce (I was a little dissapointed because it just didn't taste as good as I expected). I still had a wonderful time spending some special time with my little buddy. He cracked me up when he asked me to take his picture taking a bit of his ice cream. He's such a silly boy and talked my ear off. He was sound asleep before we got home. A fun day for us both! =)

Date with Dakota =)

Dakota and I had the privilege of going on a date last week. Just some mommy and son time and I loved every moment of it! We went bumper bowling and had a blast! He was so cute picking up his ball and basically throwing it down the lane. I'm not the best bowler and really needed a lighter ball but I managed okay in the end. I did get a strike on my last turn. Dakota got a spare his last turn (thank God because he was getting really sad not getting a spare). We had a lot of fun and the afternoon wasn't over yet. Yayyy for special mommy and son time! (It doesn't happen often enough with 2 other little ones needing and wanting my attention.) Dakota relished the time alone with me. We did to go on our little dates more often! =)
